Kona Brewing Company is hunting for a GM for their Hawaii brewpub. They’re looking for a person with at least five years of experience to manage 90 employees while maintaining an “Ohana spirit.” A degree in business management or food service is a plus.

Salary: $65,000 – $80,000

The Kona Brewing Company, located in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, is seeking an experienced General Manager for our Kona Pub. Consistently rated as a top destination on the Island for its food and beer produced from the on-site brewery, we are looking for a hands-on leader to maintain our high standards for food, fun and Ohana spirit. This individual will have responsibility for managing all facets of the 90 person restaurant operation including Front and Back of House Service Staff, Kitchen, Bar Staff and respective managers. Candidates must have a minimum of five to seven years restaurant management experience, with a working knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service, food costing, labor tracking, budgeting, P&L management and reporting, training and development, health/safety/sanitation compliance, and superior guest service.  Keep reading…
